Michael Rothenberg with Bob Malone & the Ecosound Ensemble

FSU Libraries Poet in Residence Michael Rothenberg presents a unique evening of music and poetry. He is joined by legendary pianist Bob Malone (currently touring with John Fogerty) and the Ecosound Ensemble, which includes Longineu Parsons, Michael Bakan, Joel Johnson, and Brian Hall.

This event is free and open to the public. The Northside Community Center is located at 8005 Oak Grove Road in Northeast Tallahassee.

Northside Stage welcomes Soul Medicine in a free, live music event on Friday, October 22 at 7:30pm. Soul Medicine plays a potent blend of instrumental funk, soul-jazz, reggae and groove rock, and they always bring the prescription for fun. These four musicians bring a musical blend that can only be described as medicinal.

Don’t miss Ayonna Charese with Chris Seepersaud in the gallery at 6:30pm.

King Kuisine food truck will be onsite serving up some good eats.

Local guitar legends Perry Osborn and Phil Adams bring a wealth of talent and experience to the stage, and provide audiences with fresh arrangements of blues, jazz, and rock favorites. Drew Tillman, voted Tallahassee's favorite solo artist in the 2012 Tally Awards, will open at 7pm. CRAVE a Food Truck will be serving at 6pm, and Alison Riling will play a pre-concert set in the gallery.
